Teens Conference 2025: Discovering Potential and Inspiring Futures

The Teens Conference 2025 brought together more than 210 young participants from various schools, colleges, and communities in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Held on October 24–25, 2025, at Aula Komodo, Dinas Pendidikan & Kebudayaan Prov. NTT, this event created a vibrant space for teens to explore their potential, set life goals, and gain motivation from inspiring figures.


The conference gathered a diverse group of attendees, including junior and senior high school students, university students, and the general public. Supported by 25 dedicated volunteers and eight community and media partners, the event opened with a keynote speech by Serena C. Francis, the Deputy Mayor of Kupang. Her presence highlighted the importance of youth development in the region.

Why Supporting Teens Matters in NTT


Teenagers represent a crucial asset for the future of any nation. In NTT, where rapid social changes and digital challenges are reshaping daily life, young people need opportunities to understand their strengths and ambitions. The conference responded to this need by offering a supportive environment where teens could connect, learn, and be inspired.


This event recognized that many teens face uncertainty about their future paths. By providing access to role models and practical workshops, the conference helped participants build confidence and clarity about their goals. It also encouraged them to think creatively about how they can contribute to their communities.

The conference featured a variety of engaging activities tailored to help teens discover their potential:

Young leaders and professionals from different fields shared their stories and insights. These sessions offered real-life examples of success and perseverance.

Topics included goal setting, envisioning the future, and mapping personal strengths. These workshops gave participants tools to plan their next steps thoughtfully.

Teens worked on small projects or creative ideas that reflected what they learned, encouraging practical application and innovation.
